0 Loot I say its up to personal and community preference, but I think it should be done at least yearly.

0 Loot If you get a well designed logo, you shouldn't have to change it at all, unless you're rebranding or renaming your site. If you were a company, you wouldn't be changing your logo every month, or every year even. You'd be getting one professionally designed.

Unless your logo is super old and dated, then change it but try and keep it similar to the old one.
I'd only change my logo if I REALLY had to, people don't understand the importance of brand awareness.
Take this as an example:
Do you see how the old and new logo's are VERY similar just modernized, this should be your goal, don't change things up completely it's a bad idea.
It's the first thing they will teach you in marketing and advertising.
