Are there laws in other countries (I live in the US) against some funding practices? I know that other laws won't apply to me but being aware of what those members need to abide by will help me understand better.

0 Loot I don't understand. Laws when you try to get funded? If your project is clean, legal and for social welfare then I don't see a problem in it.

0 Loot If the amount is not that big that attracts the income tax I don't see why any law will stop you from funding/donating or even coming into a partnership deal? No, there is no such law in my country against funding a website or any other business.
