0 Loot Web 2.0 would be all the free sites where you can place backlinks. Anyway, it has been considered vital to SEO - but maybe not now! Well, like other forms of SEO manipulation, lol, it certainly has been abused (probably).

Can anyone name more? Who has used this stuff? Have you used it for SEO purposes - or just for fun/profit? Anyway, I do know some about WordPress.com - but I find it limiting - as far as moneymaking goes. I mean, a web developer can save tons of money by not using it.

However, if someone just wants a free hobby site - they are very wise in using Web 2.0 - because it's normally decently fast hosting - for free! It's much like those free sites like ProBoards - and I think they (the web 2.0 blog stuff) often have no ads (unlike ProBoards).
