If you have ever registered domain on godaddy then I am sure you are aware of the discount coupons that Godaddy offers on regular basis. In case of the Namecheap they don't have regular coupons like Godaddy. However some domains on their site are pretty cheap. And they seem to be competing with the godaddy on the context of pricing. However I prefer coupons to save money, so I choose Godaddy.

According to you which registrar is better for us bloggers?

I checked GoDaddy's pricing and I saw that it's only 0.99 pounds for the first year. But after that the price goes insane. On the other side, you can buy a .com domain name in NameCheap for $8.88 USD and the price won't go to $30 USD per month as how it happens with GoDaddy.

The first year of using GoDaddy you can a get a domain for as little as 99p. The price will obviously increase after the initial year. Name Cheap is a better domain provider if your looking for long term solutions.

I've used GoDaddy for a couple of 99 cent domains.  I eventually transferred them to my host which I think is like $12 a year.
