It's pretty standard on most forum software to provide an indicator to a user that they have previously posted in a thread, but I couldn't see such a thing on Admin Loop?
Is it possible you could explore solutions for this? It's pretty useful.. 😀

I haven't failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
For a second I was worried that we didn't have this already but we do. The little icons next to topics will help you with this.
Hope this helps Nerdface 🙂

Yeah, its difficult to know on this forums. Hopefully you can add a solution for this!

Please check my response above yours JoyFreak. You should already be able to see what threads you have replied to using the post icon indicators. A plain page means you haven't replied whilst a page with lines on means you have replied to it 😉

Oh sorry I thought we were on about on-site notifications. I don't get any notification to say someone has replied to the thread or quoted me etc. I have to physically click the thread to check.

I am glad there is an indicator, and I'll keep an eye on that, but given that people are missing it even when you are showing us this, maybe it could be a good idea to see if you could find a different icon that is more intuitive so members can notice with a quick glance if they have participated or not. Like for example adding a "blue tick" to the versions, we've participated, just to make it obvious.
Yeah, unfortunately, WPForo is a bit limited in terms of some features so some features that we find as basics on other forums might not be available here. I will have a look at on-site notifications but I'm not sure it will be possible.
I will have a look at the topic icons as well to make it a bit clearer 😉

I actually saw those shortly after posting, but as mentioned by others the icons are not particularly intuitive.. If an alternative does exist, that would be great.. 🙂

Glad it's not just us getting this wrong.. 😜
The page with lines just means the thread has been replied to - not necessarily by you, but by anyone!

Oh no, I've got it wrong as well then. Woops 😆 .
I've contacted the developers of the software to have a look at what we can do about this. Unfortunately, this is what happens when you can't go with standalone forum software options.

On site notifications have now been enabled with the updates of wpforo 🙂
