Hey there. I've just released a Software-Distribution Site, WebWareBox.

WebWareBox is a Software-Distribution Site where you can upload your Programs, have them go through a check-up and then they'll be on the Site for others to download(Unless it's Copyrighted-Programs, something's Broken or there is not enough Info provided with the Program).

The Site is currently in Beta at the moment(V0.1.1). This Beta will allow me to get Feedback on the Site, what can be done to improve it and any Ideas you may have for the Site. There currently is nothing for Downloading at the moment and the Site is pretty bare-bones too. Right now, I'm currently looking for Feedback on the Design and Layout of the Site. This will let me improve any Issues you may have when navigating the Site before I begin working on things like the Submission-Process for Programs.

I'm open to all Feedback on the Site and will do all I can to improve it.

@Malcolm, thanks for the Response. As for how long I've been working on it, it's been about three days that I've been working on it.

Hey there. I've got some sad News and it's that I've shutdown WebWareBox as of today. I just don't have the desire to work on it anymore. Not to mention my lack of Interest in developing Websites, including WebWareBox.

I've made a Blog-Post about it on my Blog here: https://arvids-blogger.blogspot.com/

At the end, I also mention how I'm much more interested in making Software and Artificial-Intelligence. These are things that I'm more interested in and would much rather begin developing instead of a Website.

I may put the Source-Code and all of the Files for WebWareBox up for grabs. Check back soon for any more Updates.

Sorry to see that you have closed down the site. The idea of the site was great but I do agree with you that it looked a bit old (in terms of the design). It's good to hear that you are more interested in software and AI though. We'll be looking forward to seeing what your next project is 🙂

Hey, @Ash. Thank you for your remorse on the now defunct, Project. The Design was outdated and the way Programs would have been moderated and checked would be slow and possibly risky(There would probably be a Risk of Malware if I went along with the Idea).

I will continue to keep you updated with what's happening with WebWareBox's Source-Code(As I plan to give it away to somebody or possibly Open-Source it). I will also notify you of any new Projects that I'm working on.

Hey there. So a few Days after scrapping the WebWareBox Project, I've put it up for grabs on the Partner-Site of AdminLoop, CodeForum.org.

I made a Post on the Site that details what the Project was, why I scrapped it and what kind of Person that I'm looking for to pick up the Project.

The Thread can be found here: https://codeforum.org/threads/does-anyone-want-control-over-this-now-scrapped-project.304/#post-1677

Hey there. It's been a while regarding any Info on this Project, I know. But I do have some really exciting News.

So I'm sure some of you's know, @Malcolm. He's the Owner of CodeForum.org and on there, I had made a Thread asking for somebody to take the WebWareBox Project. Soon after, I made the switch to Linux and I thought I had lost all of the Projects Files. Luckily enough, they were backed-up on Google Drive(phew). @Malcolm responded saying that he would be interested in the Project and asked if maybe I'd like to take the Project Open-Source. He also said that I can put the Project under CodeForum.org so it's essentially owned by them but I'm the Lead-Developer of it(I dunno, confusing stuff :p).

So, I took the Open-Source Route and decided to put the Project under CodeForum.org. This means that me and the CodeForum.org Community can work together on the Project. And so, GitHub is where the Project lies now. I've only just set-up everything and not even the index.html File is complete. There's only Source-Folders, Icons, Text-Files and a Stylesheet(.css File).

I made a Post regarding the Project becoming Open-Source, here: https://codeforum.org/threads/webwarebox-is-now-open-source-and-now-is-now-under-codeforum-org.370/

You can also check out the Project's GitHub-Repository: https://github.com/codeforum-org/WebWareBox

Although, I do suggest that you do not touch anything just yet. I've still got some things to do before I actually want people coming into the Project.

Hey everyone. Been sometime since I last mentioned WebWareBox but figured I'd just give an Update.

A few weeks ago, I launched the official Website for the now Open-Source WebWareBox Project. This Site gives you News about WebWareBox, learn about the Project and let you download the Packages so that you can use WebWareBox for your Site.

You can find the new Site here: https://dan-kode.github.io

The Site is maintained by me and I write all of the Blog Posts for the Project.
