Everybody who has come to think of having a job on SEO has definitely wondered about the question how difficult is SEO. And as for those who try to get into this business, they will often question experts about the right SEO. In fact, these questions can only be answered by professionals who have long been working in the SEO field.

This is because the SEO process is not simple. You should learn more and many need to understand its processes. For those who are planning to enter the SEO field, you need to have some knowledge about it.

So, how hard is SEO? This is a question that many entrepreneurs want to use the Internet to further expand their customer base. The short answer to this question is that it is hard, especially when you are not really interested in learning its processes. Some people may say SEO is less difficult because they do not know the related activities.

It is easy to learn the processes and easily understand the important details of it. Just tweaking SEO is the uncertainty of how it really works. SEO basics often change. So, the continuing adaptation of its foundation does not end.

Everyone makes such a fuss over SEO. It's not all that hard and it's a little too overrated.. some people have different opinions etc. I would just google it and see the top result and go from there.

SEO isn't difficult at all, at least not to me. It's more tedious than anything else. SEO never stops and worse, in recent years it's really changed. I took a break from websites for several years, came back and was confused as all heck in regards to SEO. But I think it's one of the more simpler tasks a webmaster has to do.

It's extremely tedious, to the point I'm willing to pay someone to deal with it all.

It's not hard as much as it's a hassle and a lot of people hate it simply because of the fact that it takes a while. In order to see a lot of SEO work you have to post your link on tons of stuff such as 2.0 web, do-follow websites, profile links, wiki links, and much, much more. It's fairly simple to find where to post, but posting the thousands you need to successfully boost your SEO is a headache and it's why a lot of people chose to just pay for it done by someone else, as mentioned by @demon_skeith

I have read and heard a lot about SEO and to my utmost surprise most SEO experts having a vast knowledge on the topic still find very few viewers. I think we should keep it simple and concentrate on content. There is no doubt about the fact that you should let people know about your work through sharing media. I also believe that your niche is also important but that's about all. Rest depends on your effort how you bring people to your content.

I find it really difficult, but mostly because i don’t know where to start learning about it. I feel like everywhere I go it’s dont do this or do this etc.

I agree with @JoyFreek SEO is either over rated or made it look so by so-called SEO experts. I think the most suffered people are none other than these SEO experts themselves. They, in my views are running their shops in the name of SEO expertise and try to sell you something that doesn't work even for them.

SEO has definitely changed most likely will keep changing but to not try anything to improve SEO really doesn't get far in search engine ranks. I still don't have it figured out well enough and need to take the time to learn more about what is needed and what isn't going to help me.

I agree with all of you that keeping abreast with new developments in any field is always beneficial so if SEO helps achieving you your desired results that should be welcome. However, my personal experience tells me that you can do it up to a certain level but in the end your marketing tactics and social media is the main source of reaching to the audience.
