Ever had an idea but no one to create it?

No, I generally never let an opportunity go by unless of course that is beyond my capacity. In fact I never try or dream of something which I can't go ahead with. Once I decide to do something then there is nothing to stop me 🙂

All the time! However, thankfully I met a very talented person along my adventures and she was able to help turn my ideas(and her own) into precisely wrote code and made it a reality. I still have plenty of other ideas,  time waiting for software updates and coder availability is always a big time-constraint on when these projects can be created and implemented. 

Many would say "go learn the languages yourself", however, to those I say I'm a general and network-related IT tech, coding isn't my forte and to reach the level of experience my partner has would take years, and years while holding me back from other things. 

I had one back in the day, but these days there is lots of coders out there able to make them possible.

Have you ever come up with a great idea for an addon or mod for your site but didn't have anyone to create it?

This is a great though but I think today it is rare to have an idea but no one created it yet.

I did have an idea for a mod I wanted... but to make it myself would have been way too much of an undertaking. It's way beyond what I'd be able to do in a reasonable time frame. (It'd involve basically rewriting huge sections of a forum software.)

I could pay someone who does know how to do it... but it'd get pretty expensive in a hurry as most coders want a lot of money (upfront) for their work.  And, not going to lie, I have a lot of other things I could (and likely really should) spend my money on before this idea.
