I've edited my first xenforo theme and uploaded it to XF website not too long ago. It was the first time I've ever made my own theme, and though I didn't change much with the core xf look it still looks way different from the original. As such I felt a sense of pride in it.
I was wondering if anyone here has made a custom theme or style for their forum, or for the community of the software you're using?

a long time ago, there was a skin maker for jcink sites that I used and played with, the result was very noobish so I just stick to those who have the time for it.
Though I wish I stuck with it, skin makers make a lot of money.

I've made a couple of custom themes for my previous websites..
I haven't found the motivation to make my own lately, for the price of some of the awesome themes that are readily available, there seems little point in trying to re-invent the wheel. I just opted to customise.. 🙂

I'm not in a position to even think about making money from my site.. 😝
It just doesn't have the numbers to make adverts worthwhile.

I use MyBB for all my projects, been using them since 2011!
I haven't created a custom theme but I have bought around 3 so far.
