Hunting for best Web Hosting. As a non-member till now, I've learned a lot by browsing through the forums: No to EIG, lure of unlimited space, etc. So thanks to all. Didn't opt for any local hosting services because of unenthusiastic and poor response to queries. Good enough as most belonged to EIG, which I discovered here is least preferred. Would appreciate a second opinion of veterans and experienced members for the same old question. Currently, I need a hosting plan for a personal website, but may invest in a multiple websites hosting plan for websites of clients too, which hope is legit.

Make sure the host has the payment option your looking for. I don't even think twice about a host that doesn't accept paypal or bitcoin.

Look into the offered maintenance plan; how often they scan for malware/viruses, how often the software is updated, how often the plugins are patched, how often backups are run, and others.

Industry Reputation. Long-established hosting providers with good track records are often more reliable. Avoid hosts with a history of frequent outages.

Pleased with GTHost.com instant servers. Uptime is ok, 99.9% looks promising. Package prices also amazed me. It's so much better than our previous hosts that business has actually increased.
