Do you guys think that Ko-fi is a good alternative to Patreon to fund your projects?
I like that the main idea is more akin to tip them "to buy them a coffee", so it is a nice way to incentive small donations toward your project goals. it seems like Kofi also offer possibilities to set a monthly subscription similar to Patreon, so it seems like an interesting idea.
How vable do you think it can be for funding websites, communities and blogs?
Has anyone used it before?
I've never used it, but at first glance, it seems like a good platform. I've never been much for Patreon and the idea of 'pre-released content' and exclusive features, at least for forums and blogs. If anyone has used it, I'd love to hear your thoughts as I might have to consider using it for my own project.
I have seen that used around, never used it myself as those don't ever seem to pay out very well.

Though I'd imagine it would be far more fitting for blogs and forums because Patreon is much more centered on the idea of getting perks and exclusive content when you donate. I could think of a few things that could be 'exclusive' for forums using Patreon, but for the most part, that kind of thing doesn't work great for forums.
