Damn, my FB page only has 64 followers/friend. lol  It is not related to my site, it's for cats & pets. hehe

Anything worthwhile will take money.  What I'm doing is sacrificing my government check, living on "under the table" until my plan is done.

No doubt that it will take a lot of FB followers - probably at least 10,000, to get any donations for my drum lesson thing.  I made this guess because two other Facebook pages seem to make money and have that many members (DrumsTheWord (around 10,000)  JohnXDrums (around 20,000)).

To be fair I don't think it matters how many Facebook followers you have at all - sure at some point it may mean you have a slightly higher chance of maybe converting or convincing some people to do something but I'd rather have 100 engaged fans than 10,000 lurkers who don't add anything. Like without meaning to seem rude your 'TDL' Facebook page seems to have 4000 odd likes but your statuses are getting like 3-5 likes per status. I know FB is capping organic reach like hell but that's like a 0.1% reach. Work on engaging content (not just directing to the forum) around drumming as a whole, make some videos yourself or whatever and see if that gets more engagements per post. Once you've got that audience engaged throw out a soft post to check out the forum and see if that converts for you. Then you can work up the harder sell of donations haha.
