Facebook's Group feature has now enough features that can replace most of the forums and Reddit subreddits. However a lot of people don't like the groups due to Facebook policies and limitations. However they can be a good source for promoting your content. If you can find groups relevant to your niche, you can use the groups to bring some small amount of niche traffic from it to your website. This can be even more useful especially if your post has affiliate links.
