Most of the people tend to prefer the free blog networks like blogger, WordPress and Livejournal that have decent free limits. It gives them free platform to start with their voice and then build their reputation ahead as they make money out of it. However there are some of the paid blog networks, that offer you some space and similar features like other free blog networks. And here you get premium benefits as well. But those benefits are often not something bloggers are after. Also considering you don't generate revenue out it. Things can be hard to justify when you are on the paid blog networks.
