Which Blog Software you'd choose - WordPress or Joomla?

We use WordPress here at Admin Loop so I'm sure it's no surprise when I say that it has to be WordPress. No other blogging or even content management system software comes close to WP.

I've tried Joomla in the past but never liked it. I feel like it over complicates simple things which is never a good thing.

I might be a little bias since I've used Wordpress more, but it's Wordpress for me too. I've used Joomla one or three times, but not a lot. I did not even install the software myself so I'm not sure how complicated it is to set up - but I don't think it'll be extremely difficult since I am experienced with installing most web software.

I'm not into blogs but based on what I have heard and read, WordPress is the way for most people to go. It's the most popular and I think it's definitely better than Joomla. Also, I have never tried one of them as I'm not into blogs. But if I was creating one it would definitely run on WordPress.

WordPress. Just find it more easier to use. I've never really used Joomla before but from former experience, I would have to choose WordPress.

There are many blogging softwares out there in the market. Some of them are free and few of them being premium products. WordPress is one of the free blog software that is in market for more than 11 years in the market. And it offers all the features you need to run a blog, website, shop etc. Similarly Joomla also offers the same features a bit in different UI and experience. I mostly use WordPress for my blogging and other website development needs.

Which blog software you use? Joomla or WordPress?

My vote is definitely for Woodpress.  It is pretty much the standard, and has MANY plugins/themes.  It's also very easy to host yourself and setup!

I have used both and I found wordpress to not only to have better plugins but a lot more easier to work with.
