Do you use those to gain some traffic?
I have a plan of using a lot of them for my writing blog where I'd post articles(guides) with linkbacks to my site. Talked to a few people and they said it should be a good tactic to gain some backlinks.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by web 2.0? Is it special sites or special SEO tactics?
