I have used both and I found wordpress to not only to have better plugins but a lot more easier to work with.

yep, it does help a lot. Sadly though once things are said and done the traffic vanishes.
Mostly its game in my lazyboy chair, but problem with that is I tend to fall asleep while trying to game.
When you no longer have the energy or will to keep doing it and someone makes an offer to buy your site. I've seen a lot of people quit due to that.
It works for promoting a brand but not likely for a forum. Sure someone big recommends it but hard to say that is enough to make people come to the ad...
