If it's saying 780GB available then something like the OS and pre-installed apps (that can't be removed) is probably taking up quite a bit of space. My PS4 does this with the "500GB" that was advertised but doesn't take as much. Only having 780 out of 1000 available to you is quite a lot @zoldos !

I'll have to take another look at the system settings.  I do know that I have like 400GB something left over and that's with 5 or 6 games installed so no biggie....
